Dr. Randall LaFrom
Graduated from UCLA Dental School in 1982, went to San
Jose State University, West Valley Community College and Mitty High School
prior to dental school. His family has lived in the Santa Clara County
for over 45 years. Dr. Randy was probably the only kid in his dental school
class that knew he wanted to be a dentist as early as fourth grade. This
helped him focus his studies, and while at San Jose State, he was the
president of the Pre-Dental Student Association, and assisted others in
learning about dentistry. While in dental school, he was the sophmore
year class vice president. This gave him a lot of experience in dealing
with teachers, administration and he was also in charge of helping initiate
the freshman class into the dental program. Once out of school, Dr. Randy
joined the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce and was elected the Vice-President
and served on the Board of Directors for three years. Randy was an Eagle
Boy Scout and he plays guitar and keyboards in a band on a "for-fun"
basis. Dr. Randy is one of those dentists that is a continual student,
attending every seminar and buying every gadget that comes out. He loves
providing the state-of-the-art care in a personal caring environment.
He is committed to his patients to providing them with the best possible
care available and is willing to do what it takes to make sure that his
clients are well taken care of. One of his hobbies also includes creating
web pages! |

Alison Foster, RDH - Hygienist
Alison started off with us about seven years ago as a chairside assistant.
After a few years and some advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, Alison
decided to go back to school full time to become a hygienist. She attended
Foothill College in Los Altos and graduated in June 2004. Her experience
in dental assisting helped her breeze through the patient portion of school
and her love of dentistry allowed her to graduate with honors. Alison
has a twin sister who also became a dental hygienist and from time to
time you can see the two of them running around the town together. Her
energy and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated at our office. Alison is
our outdoor camper and she enjoys spending time with her fiancee, their
boat and their dogs. |

Dawn Miller - RDA - Financial Coordinator
and Chairside Assistant
Dawn is one of Dr. LaFrom's chairside assistants and she currently assists
with the insurance and billing aspect of the office. She has been in the
dental field for twenty years now. She was a resident of Santa Clara for
many years while growing up and then moved to Oregon where she lived with
her husband for for approximately five years, then decided to come back
to California.She joined out team about three years ago and really loves
helping out at the office. She enjoys watching our patients walk out with
beautiful smiles.Her hobbies include reading, word games, needlepoint,
yard sale cruising and playing with her grandkids. |

Mary Jane Valiao - Appointment Coordinator
Jane started working as a receptionist for Western Dental College in
1997. Shortly thereafter, she was trained in dental insurance billing
and became the office manager at that office. She worked at an orthodontic
office for a year after that, but realized that her true enjoyment came
out of working with children as well as adults. She has taken several
dental related courses including insurance billing, clinical classes
on Invisalign and also takes dental hygiene courses in the evening.
When she has free time, she enjoys writing poems, she enjoys gardening
and staying at home.

Serena Adams - Chairside Assistant
Serena comes to us from Santa Cruz where she lived most of her life
and began her career in dentistry. She is a Registered Dental Assistant
and has been trained in many of the latest technologies including CEREC,
Invisalign and ZOOM whitening. She enjoys seeing our patients have their
smiles transformed and using the latest equipment to provide the highest
quality of care. She loves music and cats. In her spare time, she enjoys
the Renaissance Faire and Star Trek events.

Andrea Garber - Patient Coordinator
Andrea is Dr. LaFrom's patient coordinator. She is the liason between
Dr. LaFrom and all his patients. She is here to make sure all the patients
have a wonderful experience at our office. Andrea has been in the field
for 8 years and loves being part of the healthcare industry. She has
been a resident of the Bay Area all her life and enjoys snowboarding,
reading and spending time with her family. You can always count on her
to put a smile on your face.

Michelle Woods - Dental Assistant
Michelle has been with our office for over one year now. She is Doctor
LaFrom's chariside assistant and she also helps with the front office.
She brings with her over 20 years experience in the dental field and
loves working with patients. She appreciates all the fun high-tech toys
that our office has that allows us to provide our patients with state-of-the-art
dentistry. Although she is from the Bay Area, she is currently living
in the Sacramento area and commutes to work because she loves her job
and the patients. Michelle loves Las Vegas, country music and travelling.

Lisa LaFrom - Treatment Coordinator / Concierge
Lisa is a Registered Dental Assistant and Treatment Coordinator. She
has been in the dental field for eight years and has worked in two other
offices prior to coming to work with Dr. LaFrom. She handles a lot of
the day-to-day tasks around the office including helping out in the
back assisting from time-to-time as well as a lot of the behind the
scenes activities that help keep the office running smoothly. Her hobbies
include going to the movies, travelling, camping and working out. She
loves movies and music trivia. In her spare time she enjoys playing
with her two dogs Muffy and Buddy, and spending tme with her family.Currently,
she helps more in the background and she is a full time mom for our
new daughter Jessica...born November 17, 2005.
